The Witcher series is some of the best games for watching the evolution of gaming from the Witcher’s almost isometric view of battle to the complete overhaul it got in II, to the amount of polish and ambition it got in III.

Don’t get me wrong, Fallout 3 was fun and I liked the engine, but the storyline was a standard “find your father, defeat the bad guys, and die saving the day”. Most of Fallout 3…

Being a huge fan of Fallout 1 & 2, I had a very hard time getting into 3. The tone felt completely different. I never beat the game, didn’t put a ton of time into it, though enough to see maybe half the content?

It’s a better game. Bethslop gave Obsidian a very short time frame to develop the game. If you have a fairly decent PC check out the modding community and give it another go.
