I think that the reaction to this game is a tad harsh, but if you think this game is "all that it was promised to be," you did NOT follow its development.

I really wish Telltale would try... ANY different artstyle for a change. This game looks pretty much the same as Tales from Borderlands, The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Jurassic Park, or, hell, even the Game of Thrones game (without the weird blurry thing to make it look like a painting).

Oh I know! I liked Remember Me. It felt a tad over-ambitious, but it felt like the developer could really go places if they were a bit more focused. I was just half-expecting them to continue down the Life is Strange route because of how much better the game comparatively.

Forgive me if this sounds mean, but any time a person says this to me, I can’t imagine that they’ve actually spoken to any west-coast teenagers. I loved the story that LiS was trying to tell, but the dialogue was SOOO cringe-inducing. It never sounded legitimate.

Wow! I expected another telltale-style adventure game! This is very nice to see! I mean, it still suffers from the modern video game problem of being composed of a mixture of blacks, browns, and greys (with a wee bit’o red), so it’s not perfect, but it’s better-looking than I expected it to be.
