Sega, just give us Streets of Rage ANYTHING now.

The question is whether to buy I Am Setsuna for PS4 or Steam. I love playing my RPGs on PS4, but then I want more JRPGs to be sold on PC. So I guess I answered my own question. PC it is.
PS4, take a break from killing Star Ocean 5. Such a bitterweet playthrough. Sigh.
By cheesy, I assume you meant FUCKING AWESOME, right?
The kind of game that REALLY, desperately needed a real campaign mode. Then, I would’ve actually cared.
It looks fun and whatnot, but I can’t get into shooters without campaigns.
All these cool ass characters, just to go and have them fight without a real purpose. It’s a shame.
Doesn’t bother me in the least. I do agree, it’s definitely a sucky camera, but I’m not sensitive to it. I’m enjoying the game, overall. My biggest issue so far is how spartan and low budget this game seems to be, compared to SO4. I mean, the lack of real cutscenes is inexcusable for a series like Star Ocean.
Oh, I’m…
I love SO4. And I completely disagree with all the hate... aside from Serah and Lymle’s voice acting...quirks.
That game, to me is massively underrated.
I have only used 2 in 1s for a few decades. I still have my hair. I dunno man. Don’t believe everything you hear.
It’s back, nerfed more than ever. You know Bungie.
Well I mean in comparison to today, Suiko 5 is 480i (not even progressive). A refresh would make it look stellar. I saw what emullation made it look like, and I was happy with the result. I own the game still, and ps2 emulation is a bit wonky, so yes, I’d want a steam release.
I can see this being especially good for Suikoden III-IV-V. Suikoden I and II age well due to their mostly 2D assets, but the others look like butt, and could use higher resolutions, etc.
I miss RPGs with prerendered backgrounds. Backgrounds really set the mood and atmosphere, and too many games nowadays just opt for bland, overly generic, open 3D backgrounds. Case in point, something like Tales of Zestiria. It had a few nice sections, but most were copy paste, reused assets all over, and no real sense…
You could always get all those 2560x1080 21:9 screens sold. Nice than running multiple monitors.
I wanted to play this game... if it had a story campaign. Ah well.
Remember Me would make a great movie. The premise is movie friendly and interesting.
Waiting on the eventual PS4 port. Sold my Vita ages ago, but I’m interested in this game, even when I never, ever get into these 1st person RPGs. I can’t connect with characters that don’t emote on screen, but this one looks different, and I loved their other games.
I did too. I slowly sold them all off as the PSP/PSN versions came out. I’m not abut physical media, and had a lot of PS1 rpgs due to the fact we couldn’t play them any other way, save for emulation.
Been watching it since the beginning to now, and it still looks like absolute shit. The only thing they’ve improved on is the faces. It’s still overly CG, terribly animated, no soul bullshit in art and animation. Only the hardcore DBZ fan would ever think this shit is good.
Congratulations on your incredibly terrible opinion.
This game smelled so much like Platinum B-team, it turned me off. So I rented it... and I was right. This game is a steaming pile of mediocrity. Repetitive combat, level designs, and overall lazy design.
