Welcome to console gaming. At least they’re giving us the option, which almost never happens.

Eww, options between graphics fidelity and performance? What is this, PC gaming? Yuck, I hate having options. Console gods, take away my choices, and force me to play Movie mode, with frame dips. GRPAHIX BAEBEE

This needs to be something all games have in the future, if they can’t stick to a good framerate at all

As for the XO darkness compared to PS4, isn’t that just some gamma/contrast tweaks that can be fixed? There’s no way the two should be so different.

Again, the fact I said I’m both a PC gamer and console gamer manages to elude yet another person. Try harder.

I am a PC gamer myself, soooo. Funny how general assumptions are way off.

10 gaming experiences that I’d miss had I not owned the console. There ARE system sellers.

I play on both PC and PS4. So that wasn’t exactly an insult in any shape or form to me.

I love how people just generally assume that people can’t own more than just one console or PC.

Enjoy your sub-15fps FFXV experience. I’ll be happy to be able to play the game in a proper framerate, and no screen tearing, dynamic res bullshit.

How’s those console exclusives treating you on PC? Oh wait...

Soe people just don’t understand how this will only make dev work easier. They will still adhere to the barebones PS4 low point, but with the PS4.5, they no longer will have their horribly optimized, sub-30fps/screen tearing bs that is happening today. The PS4.5 will ensure games like FFXV (which run at a snail’s pace

While I agree some devs may try to do that, I think (or rather I hope), this will lead devs to optimize their games for a perfect experience at 1080p. No more of this screen tearing, sub-30fps nonsense. I have a feeling we’re gonna be getting 1080p upconverts to 4K anyways, not many true 4K games outside of some indie

I’d facepalm at this comment, but I’ll be civil.

Uh, no. Imagine now that devs have MORE horsepower, all these 30fps games that have sub-30fps drops now have the ability to lock their games at 60fps, or at the very least 30fos with ZERO frame tears or drops? Yeah. It only makes dev work EASIER.

Hah, I called it, I KNEW it was going to be this way. People, as usual got their panties in a bunch.

It didn’t move. The way his arms are positioned make total sense.

Yes, I’m pulling my hairs here. Really. No, honestly.

You best not be talking about my evil queen. She’s total bae!

I’m with you on a thin laptop with an eGPU like the Razer Core. That being said, that means you’re lugging two items now, one not being exactly backpack friendly.

It really just depends on how you use your laptop. If you’re constantly on the go, or transporting your rig to other places and playing there, gaming laptops

Again, because some people take things too literal, I’m referring to keeping a laptop viable for a longer stretch of time in the future.

Future proofing, means keeping something viable for a good length of time in the future. This may not be the ultimate form of it, but it is a form of keeping your laptop viable for a longer stretch than something that is already outdated and underspecced.

And yes, I’m mad. Everybody is mad. How about learning some new
