Oh then, genius, what would you call it then?

I use it all the time. When I game it’s usually in the 70 range. Only when I OC for the harder to run games does it run in the 80s. GPU tends to stick in the 60-65 range, regardless.

After two years of owning it. I’ve had it 3 1/2 years, and I’m constantly having to cherry pick my settings to get the newer games to run decently.

Have you seen how some gaes are hitting at 50fps? So no. it’s not OP. Newer games are getting more and more demanding, and the 980 will definitely start feeling it very soon, even at just 1080p.

I swear, it’s like people have never heard of future proofing.

I’ve owned an M17X-R4 for 3 1/2 years now with a 680m. It’s still going strong, and have never had overheating problems. It gets hot, but it’s more on the CPU side, not GPU, and even though it’s still more in the 80 degree celsius range, not the dangerous 90-100.

Good luck lugging your desktop around WITH a screen to boot. Oh wait, you can’t. At least not in an easy to carry form factor.

RETRO Doom VR, HNNG

Took longer than expected to get a reply like this. Of course.

I bought this on release day, and haven’t put too much time on it since. Not because it’s a bad game, far from it, but because of the amount of rage it induces.

The ugly textures, and frame rate and pacing issues are really making me consider skipping this game. What’s a game if it plays like shit, and looks like it too? Yeah, cool, they got lighting and particle effects, wow. Everything else, like super rough AA and dithering, and 20fps is just way too strong a factor in

I’ve been at 299 with 3 characters (didn’t bother with King’s FAll (mainly because I was burned out on Destiny by that point). The new content will bring me back to this game, enough to want to try King’s Fall. At least this time I’ll be on even grounds with everyone else, instead of lagging so far behind.

Drake is starting to look more like Sully.

Not sure if serious, but I DO like being led from set piece to set piece. It’s an experience that is good ALL the time that I can wholeheartedly enjoy then move on from. None of the game padding, mundane task BS that open world games are cluttered with.

I specifically love Uncharted BECAUSE of its linear, focused approach. With this, it just looks like they’re gonna appeal to people who prefer games like Ass Creed and Far Cry, where you’re put in a level, and have random things to do in it. No real sense of progression, and utterly breaks pacing.

I’m wary that this

Can we just FINALLY have 1080p/60 with ALL games as the base minimum? 4K/30fps takes the same power requirements as 1080p/120fps, so if 4K is their goal (and I assume 30fps will be norm), then they definitely have no excuse to ever, ever go below 1080p/60fps with any and every game. Come on guys.

Japan, where anything less than an A, is an F. hahaha, but seriously, I’m glad to see banter like this. I sincerely hope FFXV shapes up to be as amazing as everyone is hoping for it to be. I haven’t felt a sense of wonder in a Final Fantasy game since FFIX.

Actually, that looks really looks like Cosmo Canyon... Bugenhagen’s home’s interior, really.

The only thing I don’t like is that her gaze seems fixated on the void of nothingness, and makes her look soulless in the eyes. I don’t mean this in harsh way. She is a VERY lovely woman, and does the character total justice. Just... I wish her eyes didn’t seem so lifeless with the photographer perhaps directing her

That’s the thing. Had they not added the connection in the final chapters, this could’ve been a whole other series entirely. There was a severe disxconnect between this Cross and Trigger. There was really no consistency between them. They could be connected as much as they wanted to be, it doesn’t change that the two

But, but Supergiant games. :(
