That impostor had an actually believable personality, unlike the original.

If any game is deserving of a full on remake, it’s Xenogears. However, it’s ripe with more content than even FFVII. An XG remake would take like 10 years in the traditional sense. :(

Was Tales of Zestiria something like “empty open world JRPG”?

Courtship simulator is what it is, just dressed up as a JRPG. Anime highschool dating sim JRPG.

The correct answer is Star Ocean 5, though US release is probably more like winter time.

The simple answer here is that they should’ve done the mobile/steam versions in the same way as the PSP versions of FFI/II/IV.

Wooden Cog Vapor confirmed BOYZ

The summons are stage effects in Midgar. Not sure if they’ll have KOTR, but I’m sure Shiva, Ifrit, Bahamut, Ramuh will. Those are the most Iconic in terms of basic FF summons. Perhaps Odin and Leviathan make it in.

Chocobo catching: This may be limited to end game where having a colored Chocobo unlocks areas on a menu on the Highwind, instead of having to actually travel there.

I’d rather they flesh out the locations more than some archaic world map with a character the size of a Kaiju.

A non-interactive world map is all that I’d want at the most.

I can’t stand MMOs either. I don’t want fetch quests, and filler missions. I’m referring to going to an area in between towns or plot points to see PARTS of the world, since people want to explore. I just don’t want the old style of world maps, where it basically looks like the world is made up of a few cities that

People seriously need to get over world maps. It’s a dying aspect of RPGs, used less and less, for good reason. For games that are becoming more and more realistic, nothing screams realistic than a character the size of a Godzilla going from town to town in a mere minute. It honestly makes these worlds seem much, much

So you worked in the exact branch/office as Kojima? Because a small fraction of a company doesn’t signify how good or bad a company is.

Like I said, one situation does not speak for everything/one.

I do hear of bad things happening within Konami, but the same thing can be said of every company ever. Even the worst

Or perhaps since they’re under contract, both parties have remained silent to not break any agreements. After it expires, perhaps both Kojima and Konami will clear the air. Regardless, it’s obvious that world has collectively backed Kojima, even without hearing anything.

I have a feeling Konami’s been silent about the whole thing because they are waiting for the very moment the contract with Kojima expires to avoid being sued. I feel the moment the contract is over, they’re absolutely going to spill the beans as to why all this happened, and make Kojima look like an unlikable shit.

Kon

A playful buttslap, vs blatant sexualization of other characters like Laura. Her cowtits would make me blush before any buttslap ever.

There are two sides to every story, with the truth hidden in between. However, people almost always only hear one, and base everything off that one story. People need to learn to be Devil’s Advocate, to try and think of reasons other than the one you share with most people. Always wonder WHY things happen.

Funny. You DO know that FFVII’s screens are almost ALL unique? There are no repeated assets, save for some areas like the undergorund train sections of Midgar, Junon tunnels...and Corel desert that had some repeated assets.

Even if the whole game took place in one city, the locations and screens would mostly be

There’s a difference between making an open world game with a shit ton of repeated assets, and a more linear, focused, varied approach to making games. They’re not just making a map with a bunch of trees and points of interest and calling it a game.

Lol, a traditional turn based FFVII wouldn’t do as well as you’d think, because times have changed. Thanks for trying. To all your other nonsense, it’s all mere opinion. You can definitely take that action games selling more than turn based as an absolute fact, however.
