How can a list of old sports dudes fail to include Bernard Hopkins and Darrell Green? I call shenanigans.
It actually wasn’t the 50s, it takes place in 1940. Which probably only bolsters your argument, really.
As a Michigan grad, I cannot endorse this concept enough.
Khabib would smash McGregor. I really really hope he has the chance to do it.
I am from Detroit, and drove down to Cleveland to see a show at the Grog Shop with a friend of mine. There was a guy wearing a t-shirt with a little cartoon cloud and lightning bolt on it that said “God hates Cleveland.” I turned to my buddy and said, “shit, if God hates Cleveland, what must he think about Detroit?”…
Both, probably.
What do you mean?
All you need to do is look in the comments section of virtually anything you write and see all the people defending that donor class’s right to own everything to know that the Republicans are 100% correct. The American electorate are fucking stupid.
Or maybe, if you are a professional law enforcement officer, behave in a professional way? He had no need to do what he did, he did it because he was pissed. That’s not being a professional. That’s being an asshole.
Is there a reason that Kaepernick won’t go to the CFL other than that he really hopes an NFL team will sign him? It seems like if he went up there and threw for a million yards SOMEONE would notice and take a chance. Do I have this all wrong?
Yeah, tall people tend to not give a shit about their height because no one judges them for it. I know being tall can be a pain in the ass, but it is only a detriment to your personal comfort. Being short makes things difficult for the short person externally. Women act like a man’s being short is a personal failing.…
Way to miss the point, man. He was mocking the whole “thoughts and prayers” thing, obviously. I mean, I don’t really disagree with anything you said, but your anger is misplaced here.
If I am not mistaken, every movie he was in was nominated for Best Picture.
Yeah, it’s a fill, not even close to a solo.
You have Mike Rutherford to blame for “I Can’t Dance,” not Phil Collins.
It’s because that drum fill has the first instance of gated reverb on drums ever recorded. He literally invented a new effect in the studio and it sounds huge. The reason you aren’t that impressed by it is that once he did it, it was copied a trillion times and driven into the ground.
Popular entertainment and art in general reflect the values of its society of origin, not the other way around. This should be obvious.
True, but that’s kind of my point. In 1998 he was in Titanic, I don’t think he thought that he would be doing low-budget evangelical Christian movies to pay the bills 20 years later. Same thing goes for Rutger Hauer. They either terribly mismanaged their money or must have built reputations for being hard to work with.
Now he’ll make God rock!
