First this.
First this.
@elmarko99: I own a FWD '94 Impreza. There aren't many, but they exist. All pre-97 of course.
Grand Wagoneer
First time I picked a girl up for a date in a car it was a borrowed '84 Cutlass Ciera. Brown velour and a bench seat, it must have worked because we dated all through college. I picked up my wife in my old '97 Crown Vic, again with a brown velour bench seat. There were lots in between, but those two stick out. I guess…
@vinylrake: $5 a DAY, not an hour.
@My X-type is too a real Jaguar: As terrible as they were from the very start, I'm not sure who would have bought them USED!
My father never drove an Oldsmobile, but I actually have one now. A 2001 Intrigue, it's a reliable if uninspiring car. The styling and Shortstar V-6 are the highlights, with handling and the slushbox being the shortcomings. In usual GM fashion, it seems as though they killed the brand just as they were starting to…
@secretpizzaparty: I believe the last model year was 2004.
@mytdawg: Don't worry, I do the same thing. If livin' in the ghetto is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
@pl8ster: From what I remember, there are guys that you can sign the questionable title over to and will then issue you a bill of sale. As long as the car is over a certain age, you can get it titled and registered in most states. Not sure why it works in Maine, but most places I've seen that offer the service are…
@Whitetrashsteve: First thing I thought when I saw the grille and headlights.
@PopSmith: 2 cars actually, Golf has the same drive train options.
@H3rBz: Lame. I rented a DSG Golf Estate TDI this year, and pretty much left it in Drive the whole time.
@H3rBz: It doesn't have one?
@robot-shmobot: My wife's uncle recently picked up a two-fer Grand Am GT/ Grand Prix combo from a neighbor for his teenage kids. He got them for a ridiculously low sum, but after a good wax, that Grand Am looked good! I couldn't believe how shiny the paint was, and no rust after 175k in Michigan. A strange anomaly in…
@RandomArt: Yeah, but that four banger was a quad-four, and had the same HP rating (I don't recall the torque) as the 3.1L push-rod V-6. I'd actually rather have the quad-four, as thrashy as it was, over the 3.1.
@tintern: Duly noted.
Not bad looking at all, better proportions than the Sonata. But why the butt gotta be so big?
@zekestone: This is what five seasons of The Wire has taught me.
@WookieCookies: I came here to say just that. I used to live right on the beach in Rockaway Park, and I could see my apartment building every time I took off from or landed at JFK.
