@Gruns: Of course not, but by that argument, what's to stop you from being mugged at any time on any train? It's not like you aren't trapped on the train when it's running between regular stations too.

@Gruns: Riiight, except the doors don't open at the deserted station.
@hillyhi11s: It turns around, trust me. I've stayed on during the turn-around to see the old station more times than I can remember.
I used to do this all the time on the 6 train, never had a problem staying on the train while it changed directions.
@Alfisted: The ones that weren't stillborn, of course. I worked security in that garage 10 years ago. Ironically, we drove Rangers. Luckily, they can do donuts on a snow-covered roof just as well as an S-10.
@maximum_sarge: Or "5-speed manual swap."
@Baby Benz, or B²: My next door neighbor has an XJS in his garage that he gave up on after spending over $2k on unsuccessful attempts at keeping it from overheating. I've had to restrain myself from offering to take it off his hands.
@OldElvis: Only if he is enrolled at a school with open admissions. There's broke, and then there's just plain stupid. I've made some questionable repairs to cars in my day, but the sheer lack of disregard for maintenance, safety and good taste in this case do not point to a rising star. He's more likely a meth-head…
@Rusty Van Horn: I agree in principal, but if I said I hadn't installed a salvaged steering column w/ airbag & clockspring or a junkyard brake line/hose on my old Civic, I'd be lying. The guy I sold it to no doubt did things to that car that paled in comparison. If it didn't die a fast and furious death within a year,…
@bacon117: Crap, that happens to me every time. How can do an an oil change WITHOUT pouring a little on the ground?! That said, I'll let the old filter spill it's guts on my driveway a little longer next time...
@duurtlang: My dogs love my truck AND my station wagon. But I think they love the truck more, because they get to sit up front with me on the bench seat, instead of in the cargo area of the wagon.

@Murph:What we have here is another case of RTFA. Some men you just can't reach.
@electricworry: My old '93 had no tailgate handle and only one hinge and support cable. You had the get the good hinge into position, lift the rusted-out side just so, and then slam the whole thing shut. If you misaligned it or moved too slow, you had to start all over again. Once shut, there was the slight…
@accipiter: That truck would be a brand new one every time, as part of his compensation package. And because he could only drive each one for two weeks before the suspension gave out.
@Turbo60640: I agree, the same goes for fox body mustangs. The LX looks way better to me than the ground-effected, louvered tail lighted GT.
@christauph: Here it is in less inclement weather.
Gonna have to go with my own brown 80s Toyota (and my avatar), the first-gen 4Runner.
@lilwillie: I always remembered it as a 3 series, but everyone else seems to think it was a 5...
