@B-Sel: I see one regularly, or rather I HEAR it regularly. My next door neighbor has one with a power steering pump that's been dying for years now. You can hear her two blocks away. A couple of weeks ago I saw one covered in duct tape that had been stolen. Two cops were chasing the guy on foot, guns drawn, and…
Umbrella, current and expired registration slips, spare sets of points just in case the pertronix craps out on me. That's about all that will fit.
@BradMW: Oh they totaled it alright. Of course, its a PT Cruiser so an errant shopping cart would probably total it too.
Sadly, every one of those cars is nicer than my daily driver.
What happened New York? I've seen more better looking women riding the A-train home on a Tuesday.
Moonshine. Its a '68, manual drums all around, manual steering, 4 on the floor with a granny gear. And I got it from Kentucky.
Would. Rock. That. Shirt. I'm finding that as I get closer and closer to the big 3-0 (this summer!), my wacky t-shirt collecting is kicking into overdrive.
Spectacular ad, he even addresses the inevitable trade requests for a moped, Sega Genesis and three years of US Weekly back-issues. The car, however, is a hateful machine that may very well eat your soul.
@87CapriceEstate: I had one of those in China in the 90s. Trust me, a regular motorcycle is WAY more stable. Those three-wheelers like to pick fights with gravity. And lose.
One of the best looking trucks of all time, IMHO. All of the great body lines of the Grand Wagoneer without the dubious electronic bits and peel/fade prone plasti-wood.
@GTBruiser: I wish I could say it was mine (the car or the picture)
No shame here, move right along.
@Dominic Chan: Looks more like a linebacker.
Just about effin' perfect. But I'd take that pipe in the ear before paying 40k for it. Just sayin'.
In this order:
We moved to China when I was 15. Even though I hadn't taken driver's ed, my dad had let me hoon the family Astro van from time to time, which of course led me to "borrow" it when he wasn't home. We moved in late July at the height of Beijing's stiflingly humid summer, and I some time to kill before school started.
@Brandon Laroussini: What's a warranty?
@underwear-ninja: You can find that out easily by googling the bolt pattern and offset for each car. But since you're talking about FWD to RWD, its highly unlikely.
The first car? Certainly not, she likes it so much she drives it every day.
