So it finally came to this and man what a ride it was! Like many others I catched on to this series quite late (like mid season 4 late) mostly due to the glowing reviews I kept seeing on this site and IGN, and i'm so glad I did. Because what Jonathan Nolan and his team did here can only be described as extraordinary.

My God, this is a complete shocker. Dude was a very talented and likable actor, with many opportunities ahead of him, which we will now never have the chance to see. I will watch Green Room and Star Trek Beyond with deep melancholy.

Man what an awesome, kickass film this is. Pretty much takes the existentialist undertones of Vanishing Point, but amps up the action, the coolnes, and the gritty, urban film noir atmosphere. Actions movies and countless directors own a huge favour to Walter Hill, one of the absolute grandfathers and early pioneers of

I love this series, great picks and writing. Rolling Thunder has been one of my favorite hidden action favorites, an unapologetically grim, raw and vicious piece of work, and one of the best vigilante movies ever made. John Flynn sure knew how to make gritty and violent actioners.

"it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films"
I'm getting some serious James Cameron - Terminator Genisys flashbacks here.

Even though this season was without a doubt the weakest one, this was a decent closer to one of the most ball-out, tough-as-hell and insanely entertaining shows in recent memory. Damn I will miss you Banshee with all your craziness and exhilarating next-level action.

What also makes the icecream scene so shocking is not just the fact that it comes so sudden and unexpected but also due to the killer's reaction. He doesn't seems suprised or angered when he gets interruped by the girl, he just turns and shoots. Without the slighest emotion. Bone-chilling to this day.
The movie itself

This was one of my most anticipated movies back in 2015 and man it didn't disappoint. Sure it has some sappy melodrama but at the same time it has everything why I love Hong Kong action films. Fast paced, intense, brutal, creative, well filmed and choreographed action by super talented martial artists who know exactly

There are many articles on the internet that have no logical reason to exsist. This is one of them.

"Trank and cinematographer Matthew Jensen give the film a dark, sleek,
slick look full of gunmetal blues and grays."

I officially ran out of words. The man was not only a musical genius, but he created a body of work unmatched in size, musical bravado and creativity. R.I.P.

A very well edited video that actually gave me some real good tips to what movies should I watch next.

Oh yeah that movie easily has one of the most memorable finales in HK cinema in terms of batshit insane, over-the-top bloodshed. A Better Tomorrow 2 (which came out two years after Hong Kong Godfather) pretty much has the exact same blood-smearing everywhere type of finale only with guns instead of knives.
In fact most

Shaw Brothers movies especially the ones directed by Chang Cheh are pure awesomeness. Stylized outbursts of exceptionally well choreographed ultra-violence that set the standard for all later hong Kong actioner to stand on.

Truly one of the greatest westerns and a film that certianly had a huge impact on many filmmakers. The kinetic violence and action is of course brilliant (the editing is so razor-sharp it didn't lost it's impact even after 40+ years), but the characters, the rich thematization and the downbeat, melancholic feel that

Combining a monster-of-the-week and a dramatic loss episode into one wasn't a very good creative choice as they pretty much weaken each other and make the whole package disjointed. But to give credit where it's due Gillian Anderson acted the living hell out this episode and the murder scene juxtaposed to Petula

Dear cancer: Go fuck yourself with a cactus.
Insane and surreal that I just watched Die Hard on Christmas Eve and now Rickman is gone. He was one of the few actors who was not only good in anything but pretty much raised the quality of evey movie he was in.

Absolute shocker. I never imagined he was sick, let alone with cancer. Fucking hell, Lazarus makes so much sense now in context. I fully believe that he made that knowing he was about to die.
Eleven days into 2016 and it already sucks massive quantities of various genitalia. R.I.P.

Not to take anything away from these wonderful shows but the lack of Person of Interest saddens me. Season 4 was the best so far and it got really positive coverage on this site too.
On the other hand, epic list must have been really tough to essamble.

Goddamn this looks intense as hell. Who would have thought that the Russo bros would be such crackerjack action directors?
