I don’t think we need to ignore it because something else is worse or just apathetic (or numb or out of the loop). We can try to address multiple issues at once. And though it wasn’t some kind of vehement racism, this kind seeps into every day life for people.

The linked article talks about two guys held on unrelated charges for questioning, but as of yet no actual charges filed in the shooting? Unless there’s a follow up not linked I didn’t see.
