It’s horrifying that it’s both what we expect and what usually happens.

Oh I agree. That was all snark. It's just amazing since that's why it's there.

Or just read the rating. So simple. Not even a full sentence to take in.

My ex and I watched that with my parents when I was 22. My parents (who do not lack in dirty humor), were uncomfortable THEN. I can't imagine them trying to watch that with me as a kid.

Not when it comes to 6 y/o and under, though. Come on. Just don't see it in theatres if you're not sure if PG13 is appropriate for your 5 y/o.

I hid behind the theatre seats when Beast caught Belle trying to touch his rose. For years I would hide my face when that scene came on. Ha

My issue is more that children that age are much more likely to be disruptive. You were clearly an exception. I am more sure parents can talk to their children after a movie about the questionable parts than I am that children asking questions, running around, screaming, etc during an adult movie won’t disrupt others.

I hope the theatre refused refunds since there's a clear fucking rating.

Probably less that specific experience than that experience is telling about the parenting involved as kid aged.

Me too. 7 y/o next to me during The Watchmen. The sex scene had his eyes popping out. I was so uncomfortable. And honestly I was exposed (in a responsible way) to sex fairly young.

Not to mention buying a ticket for Johnny and snacks is basically the cost of a sitter ANYWAY. This is just a bad excuse for being rude to those around them.

It wasn’t. She thought it was a ghost. Was in fact hallucinations caused by a brain tumor.

Why do I not remember this?!

(But also, I agree with most of your assessment)

To be fair it wasn't actually a ghost. It was an hallucination caused by her brain tumor (that she interpreted as ghost)

I remember seeing that and being like...wait...no...wait...Katherine? Nah...but...

I can be kind of a short jerk to wrong numbers simply because the few times I attempted to nicely inform through text, men got it into their heads they should sext/hit on me immediately. I wish I was kidding. Even after I said “totally not trying to get to know you especially since this is a work cell and I pay for

More so that it’s not even a consideration necessary based on the base assumption. I wouldn’t ponder that choice beyond “yack! No!” because I don't believe in one soulmate.

I don’t know if mine has seen it yet...fun weekend plans ahead!!

It terrified a room of my guy friends for years. Hahahahaha
