I'm still somewhat shy of jumping all the way in on Google Voice. I've been using it for several months now and have experienced two extended (2-3 days in a row) disruptions of service. I reported both service issues as soon as I became aware of a problem but never got a reply from Google on either one.

I don't fret too much over people that don't show up on time. They'll get what is (or miss out on what was) coming to them. It's the whole karma thing man.

I always search the hotel websites and other booking companies for the best rate. But before I actually book a room I always call the hotel directly and ask for their best rate. It is not unusual to get a "walk-in" rate that is better than that available online.

This headline caught my attention because I'm a boss and I know for sure one of my employees wishes I were dead. I sure hope I'm here this time next year to fill you in on how it went.

As a boss, I agree with this. A card and/or note is enough.

I don't respond to SPAM. When I sign up for sites like this I don't use my main email addresses. I either create a new junk address or use an existing junk address.

Chrome for a Cause - What's in it for Google?

What kills me about needing more (or new) batteries for a tool set is you can often get the batteries cheaper by buying a set that includes (duplicate) tools for less than the price of just the batteries!

Also, remember....if you find a genuine bargain and you are paying with a credit card, pay that mother off at the end of the month. Otherwise, interest charges may negate any savings or even cost you more.

Nice article. I'm so glad there are people like Ms. Walker willing do the dirty work to expose potential cracks in the system. Now I won't feel guilty about going through a body scanner without question. Then again, if I were allowed to pick which TSA agent performs the secondary screening, I may "randomly" refuse

Buy $100,000 worth of USPS Forever stamps @ $0.44. Hold them until the price goes up to $0.45. Your stamps would then be worth a whopping $102,272.

I spent some time in Estonia 10 years ago. They were using cell phones then to pay for parking, grocery store purchases, etc. Why is it taking so long for this to make it to other parts of the world?

The Earth is Awesome! Beware!

I never rely on my phone to be correct when time changes take place. It often takes two, three or more hours for my phone to recognize I'm in a new time zone when traveling.

@Chrismith: You are correct...if all the phone did was change on the wrong weekend.

I could not see this without someone risking his/her life. I like it but it still bothers me at some level.

The driver of the Google Mobile should have the ability to mark a recording for review, unless he/she is hired to just mindlessly drive around .

I love the smell of new electronics getting burned in. I also like the smell of hot solder, not like taking a hit, just the lingering smell of the dissipated vapor.
