Discover was my first credit card (after my Sears card). I felt as though I had finally made it when I got that card until I "discovered" the only place I could use it was Sears.

@SkelatorDan: I was thinking the same thing. It kind of reminds me of using a magnifying glass to burn something...it takes a little while for it to get hot enough to start smoking.

I found an iPhone in the road. It had been remotely disabled.

This reminds me of when I used to wipe my old CRT with a damp rag to clean off the dust. Some of the wet spots were like a magnifying glass showing the RGB being beamed to the glass.
