I laughed like Snidley Whiplash’s dog at this.

His lifetime batting average is .272 and he has almost 1000 RBI.He wasn’t a power hitter by any means but he did become a solid .280-.300 hitter later in his career. He was also a smart base runner and a stipulations hitter.I’m sure you can find guys at his position with worse numbers and besides Ozzie Smith I will

Granted none of the plans the Browns have had over the last 17 yrs have worked, but that one was particularly awful.

I could see the Browns maybe taking a shot at Taylor but considering their new “analytics” front office I can’t see them going after Romo.Thats for a team that’s one guy away...the Browns are about 48 away...

I would absolutely sign up for a couple of years of Tyrod Taylor so whatever QB the Browns end up drafting doesn’t have to play immediately.

“Factory of Sadness” refers specifically to the Browns Stadium.

2 starters and their LF, who at the start of the season last year was considered their best bat.

Damn that’s good.

I tend to agree with this in regards to most managers but after watching Terry Francona the last few years I think he is worth 5-10 wins a year with how he manages his bullpen and uses his bench. He got the Tribe to a wildcard game a couple years ago with Nick Swisher hitting cleanup.

It seems like Smoltz was a lot better for a lot longer and also excelled as a starter and reliever at different points in his career.I’m just going purely on my recollection and not numbers but always thought Smoltz was much better.

You pick a short guy from the Browns and it’s not Gerald“Ice Cube”McNeil?Great nickname and about 5'7" and maybe 160 soaking wet but he was one hell of a kick returner.

This exchange made my day...and hey at least Anderson didn’t get a cat stuck in his ass in that convenience store.

I’m a Browns fan and would kill for 7-9 every once in awhile.

I want them to go 0-16,get the first pick then pass on the kid from UNC that grew up 20 miles from up 20 miles from the stadium to take a DII workout warrior. Then kid from UNC ends up in either NE,Pitt or Baltimore and becomes a star.

I kept waiting for him to die in some ridiculous way in the Martian just to keep up appearances.

I worked at a hotel in Cleveland about a block from Jacobs Field(now Progressive Field)for a couple years after it opened. We got a few of the visiting teams to stay there because our GM was a 2B for the Tribe in the 60s.The Devil Rays were one of those teams.Jose Canseco ended up turning one of my fellow bellman into

Only two coasters from Cedar Point? This list is invalid.

You know a dude is good when an opposing O-Lineman calls out his own front office for passing on the guy every time he has to face him like Joe Thomas does.

Since the RG3 experiment seems to have ended after about 18 snaps this dude is going to end up a Brown.Probably would already be if he would have agreed to take a pay cut last offseason when they were allegedly trying to trade for him.

Trust me the last thing I’m angry about is not having Waiters.I think it’s funny Riley had to sign him.
