Nah, just start the car and let the radiator fan and/or serpentine belt take care of the cats. Problem solved.
While true, the AWD did nothing but hurt the Sport’s “sporting” character. It’s very FWD-biased, and adds about 250 lbs to the car, making it worse in every performance and efficiency aspect over the FWD model. Slower, clumsier, thirstier.
