Battleship was an intellectual and cinematic masterpiece compared to the first GI Joe movie. Without that curve, it was just so-so. It helped watching it with really low expectations.

I'd be way more into seeing this if they had done the PSA thing. Much like Battleship would have been more enjoyable (though maybe only marginally) had someone actually yelled "You sank my battleship!!!!!" So many missed opportunities.
