The point of first party console exclusives isn’t to make money on the game itself, it’s to drive people to the playstation ecosystem where Sony gets a licensing fee off of every game and accessory sold. that’s why you will never see first party games released day and date on PC. It will always be staggered.

You say that as if it’ll make a difference. Look at how Disney is being treated for putting out statement about that Florida law. The right will probably just cheer that a “groomer” company is leaving the state.

Sega really has wide swings with this kind of stuff. One the one hand you have how awesome they treat and handle the fan game community for Sonic, and the on the other, you have BS like with what they are doing with Sonic Origins.

Not everything needs equal representation. Entering into a debate on the subject gives flat earthers way more credibility than they deserve.

Watch the Digital Foundry vid. The Chrono Cross “remaster” actually runs worse than the original game

Elaborate, pre-rendered backgrounds now look blurry and smeared”

Found Putin’s stealth account.

Is it weird that I’m willing to pay the extra $10 just so I have the game in a PS5 case?

Surely there can be a middle ground between 100,000 polygons, and 6?

The Steam version isn’t very popular and most will tell you to avoid it like the plague. Among other reasons, it is walled off. The PS, Windows non-steam and MAC versions use the same account, and while you do have to buy the license for each platform, you can bounce between them on one account. A steam FF XIV account

If you log back in fast enough, it usually holds your spot in queue.

Is there some restriction on it? I Skipped XBone and Series, but I had a 360 and it was my primary console for most of its life. I logged and tried to access the personal library and it tells me I should play more games so something shows up.

The UI doesn’t really bother me. For me, the problem is the controls. I would enjoy this like 10x as much, even with portrait only, if I could just use a controller.

While I do agree the time seems a bit low. It’s worth keeping in mind that it’s unlikely there are many if any people living to 100 in that environment. With that standard of living 100 years could easily be 4-5 generations.

recently surpassed 24 million paid subscribers”
did they actually say 24 million paid, or is that bullshit “total accounts” number they like to use to make the active playerbase sound much larger than it actually is.

So is namco making a lot more of them this time, or does everyone think the collectors edition is as much of a ripoff as i do. From my recollection of past games, these sold out pretty fast.

I would place RE5 much higher. the AI sucks, but when you get an actual person to play with, it’s a blast. Even moreso with Co-op mercs. That mode on it’s own contributed this to being my most played game in the series.

I’ll give it a try again since it’s on gamepass. But I wasn’t very impressed by last years demo. Game was goregous and had a great concept. But even when nailing the mechanics, the battles dragged on for way too long. In particular, that boss battle lasted an eternity.

I played on leviathan for my first 2 years. There’s this dude who dances in Limsa plaza in boxers and a top hat. I moved to fairie to play with friends, and as weird as it sounds, i missed that naked dancing man. Stuff like that becomes part of the experience.

Is Cris Tales better than the demo from last year. It was gorgeous and had a interesting concept, but the combat was a bit of a chore, in particular that last boss battle which dragged on for WAAAAAY too long.
