Sprinkles are for winners Jimmy...

Holy crap, out of the grays! WOOOT

I’m going with fake... No fluids ever came out. Surely the radiator woulda busted, windshield washer fluid, oil etc should have been spilling out of it... I’m guessing something was up with the car and this is a video with a fake story for the cool factor...

My thoughts on luxury, makes no sense new unless you’ve got the coin. I bought my wife a CPO ‘13 Lincoln MKZ. It’s got some awesome tech, most can be had in a Fusion, but when we bought it was a 2 year old car with super low miles (lease) with a 100k mile warranty and some features you couldn’t get with the ford. We

I was that guy (wouldn’t mind living next to a race car habit guy) until we now do. Said racecar guy is a prick. The race car is in various disrepair at times spread all over the driveway, and he revs the hell out of the thing day/night all crazy hours. It keeps my kids up, it wakes my kids up, its BS.

Worked for major car audio manufacturer, got to buy then tear apart competitors Class D amps back in the day. Good times....

The fact that this ad appeared directly below the sewage truck exploding ruined it for me... Just sayin....

Having worked at one of the high end brands you listed, I can tell you that 90% of all headunits are subbed out now-a-days. The very very high end units at each brand MAY still be made in house, but most are spec’d (we want this much power, this much distortion is ok, the front panel should look like this, etc). Sad

It likely struck the cable line which probably has no surge protection on it. I had this happen last year, took out cable modem, my cable TV to IP converter (HD Homerun) then went through my network wires and took out a NIC in a PC, a security DVR nic, rapsberry PI, my router/ap and a switch or two. I now have fiber

Pretty bummed, heavy prime user, but I could only find 2 buttons of stuff that I use that were cheaper/close enough to price to justify not buying locally. In the end for just those 2 items it’ll be easier to just keep them on the normal Alexa shopping list... The rest were either:

I’m damn sure that’s R2-D2 hiding on the right side of that engine bay.... Just sayin....

My grandpa did that with WW2, he passed a few years ago and took it all with him which I guess I half regret him never telling, but then also half understand that its probably the only way he coped. He was D-Day +1 @ Omaha beach..... Helluuva man.

Oddly enough this popped up locally today:

Bigger problem is that no one holds the shifter like that, all lights get hidden because most people put their whole hand over it like it’s designed for vs sissy grasping it like their video shows :-P It’s as if they are afraid they’ll break it or something...

Sigh.... for the 15th time I watched it and I drove it, clearly you didn’t since you said its the same as your car.... Look, its “digital” there is little feedback, and the feeling from ALL the way up, and “not quite there” is little, if any.... They also put the indicators on the shifter in a spot where they are

I drove the car and commented that it wasn’t safe before the recall came out. You can glance at your A6 and see that its in park, even with the car off. You can’t do that in the Jeep. The shifter sits in the same spot no matter what... I drove the thing as a rental as did my CEO, the shifter was a PITA. I kept ramming

You have actual indents, and the indicators are off to the side not covered by the palm of your hand....

They aren’t really there. Did you watch the video? Your A6 is completely different. This shifter you press up into park, and it comes back to the middle position, NOT like your A6...

The idiot bell is what caught me... you don’t hold the shifter like they show in the video, your hand covers the lights, I had a rental with one, I didn’t even know it was lighted! Problem 2 was I’m assuming that I’d shift up and think I had it, shut off the ignition then all the indicator lights were off....
