This is amazing

Dude, it already exists and it’s called the Ferrari Drivers Challenge.

I’m not a part of your system!

The other unbelievable thing I learned about the Ariel Atom is that a shockingly small percentage of owners actually track their cars. The number they gave was something around four percent.”

This is disgusting.

How much krill does it consume while driving?

I have an XP150, I don’t have a V1 drive.

Mick is driving for Haas this year.

Not detained in the dealership, but detained in finance at the dealership. After a several hour negotiation, I go to finance to start that tilt. The guy starts his song and dance about extended warranties, credit protection and the like. And my 9 month old absolutely destroyed a diaper. As in, I’m surprised it didn’t

Clearly you’ve never had the “pleasure” of merging onto a Pennsylvania highway in a rental Nissan Rogue

80s Chevy Chevette and VW Rabbit Diesels would like to disagree

I disagree. The CH-R does zero to 60 in 11 seconds, and our cousin’s 2013 Nissan Rouge had a hard time climbing the Rockies on their trip from Calgary to Vancouver which as far as I’ve seen doesn’t have an incline higher than 6%. The Mazda 5 was criticized for not having enough power to merge and pass successfully

No. Sakhir-2020 basically laid waste to this theory. If Hamilton doesn’t sign, Merc will still walk the season, just with a different Briton in the leading car.

The whole reasoning behind this cost-cutting is to reduce the investment the big names (Ferrari, Mercedes, et al) can make while ensuring smallers teams can still be competitive and encouraging new teams to join.

The obvious answer - and therefore the answer no one will accept - is to stop trying to control costs and let the teams properly develop the cars (including the drivetrains) during the season. And let them test for crying out loud.

And then... George wins the WDC proving the car was better than the driver for the past few years.

Dozens of people will notice!

I’d recommend the FRS/BRZ/GT86, lightweight and cheap like a Miata but as a coupe you have a solid roof and space with the seats folded down for a full set of tires. They’re also getting old enough to be cheap enough to turn into a track vehicle.

That would be a very excellent change and likely double the number of F1 viewers.  Because it’s so great, it is unlikely to occur.  We just aren’t that lucky.

“I asked her her name,

Yo, I get the sense that this is an add-on wheel for people that already have a Thrustmaster base (and pedal set). If so it really is useless on it’s own, something readers should be aware of.
