(This is Jalopnik, so of COURSE I didn’t watch the video, but here are the obvious questions:)
* How many laps can you do before you run out of juice?
* How many laps can you do before the battery pack overheats and you have to pit?
* Does he have some sort of generator to charge it between sessions? If so, how long does

Lower the minimum weight too possibly?  (If they’re running ballast, removing that will do a lot for speed as well.  And that seems like it would be VERY easy to change).

Tavarish line 1, Tavarish line 1.

I can see this going 1 of 2 ways:

1) This spurs the FIA to open development on the batteries, and/or upgrade the batteries so that they CAN run races on REAL tracks, and not the backlot of a Golden Corral.

2) This PROVES to the FIA that FE can’t run on real tracks, and as a result, the next calendar features NOTHING but

No, despite reports to the contrary, I’m not crazy.  I know there’s a lot more to building a winning Indycar than just the engine.

They don’t last for 500 miles on an oval because that’s not a situation they find themselves in.  If it WAS, they WOULD.

Glad to see I’m not the only one that thinks the “tracks” they’ve been racing on were all reminiscent of the 80's F1 race in the parking lot of Caesars Palace.

While I TOTALLY understand what you’re saying, is there anyone out there that DOESN’T think Formula E is A LOT slower than Formula 1? It’s (IMHO) generally understood, and I would hope people that watch the races understand that Formula E is still in it’s relative infancy, and over time will get better and better.

While the EPrix will be run on a track much closer to what you see at Formula One races, it still won’t be a one-to-one comparison.”

I KNEW they’d do something so that there wouldn’t be a direct comparison.

I prefer the German (?) ones with the SLK parking in the basement myself.

I guess that explains why it hasn’t moved much on the ship tracking website.

It’s good work if you can get it!  :-D

Binotto:

He threw it on the GROUNNNND! You can’t weigh me down Porsche man!

Had an AA2, ran track days for 2 years.  For ME, I would fill up at lunch time, and on the way home after so that I was prepared for the next time.

Yes, I thought the angle of the barrier in relation to the direction that the cars were traveling was pretty bad.  (Much like the section of barrier that Kubica hit, that caused a redesign).  If at all possible, you want to plan for a GLANCING blow, not a full-on T-bone.
