More than likely the bird did not hit anything, but rather got pushed out of the aero stream around the car. It’s easy to underestimate how violent the air gets around racecars especially F1 cars.

That’s an FSAE car... Michigan in 2014 I believe.

I test drove an autotragic cabrio Abarth, and calling it underwhelming would be an understatement. In manual mode, it took a couple seconds to register that I pushed the gear lever to upshift. It wouldn’t even let me rev higher than 2k rpm in neutral to hear that goodness.

Y'know, I'm wondering if someone rolled forward the miles on the odometer just to screw with people. Like how shady car dealers roll the mileage back, except maybe the owner decided to say "Fuck it, this car's already worth next to nothing" and proceeded to increase the miles to 900k just so he could sell it to

After what happened to my dad and his 325iX Touring, I just can't help but be disgusted by the fact that the elderly are able to drive without any restriction.

Great read. Reading this kinda made me rethink my life and kinda yearn to try to become a pilot like this. But in this day and age, it would be against all odds... Makes a good daydream though :P

We're still working on it right now. State Farm, the offender's insurance company, is still trying to work out our claim, but it's likely they'll estimate the value to be similar to what a normal 325iX is going for. We're hiring an appraiser for classic/collector's cars, and he'll give us an estimate of how much it

My dad and I actually bought an imported 325iX Touring, then about a month later he got wrecked from behind in it, and it's probably totalled. You have no idea how heartbreaking it is after everything we did to get it.

Hey Doug,

The rear looks like a 1G Mustang in some angles. Cannot be unseen.

I wonder what the Chevy rebadged version of this will look like?

6.) Ford's Aluminum Truck

Got to get some clean DSM love in here.

Good luck with that :P

Homeland "security", my ass.

Well I wish you luck. America needs more awesome unicorn import cars!

It was on Ebay. I don't think they have a website but they have their own "business" where they import the cars. Sounds like they have international connections that buy the cars then they get them shipped over here through a logistics company. They have a few they're working on that they don't have for sale yet.

Nope, he bought it from some guys who import them into the States.

My dad just bought one of these yesterday :D '88 325iX Touring
