Minis have always cost more than the trouble (or fun) they’re worth. This is no different.

Good to know, thanks. 4 doors is definitely the overarching rule I’ve got to follow, and having owned a last-gen S3 and driven a last-gen M235i, I was surprised to see back seat room fitting a normal adult comfortably.

The real question is, can I convince my wife that the 2022/3 RS3 works with very small humans in car seats?

What’s the lore behind this monstrosity? Is that a f*cking human spider?

Watched this last night with my wife, and more than once with the Baron on the screen, my wife uttered, “this is going to give me nightmares.”

Bopped around the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee last week in a brand-new ‘22 Kia K5 FWD, and coming from a tuned ‘18 Audi sportback (AWD), it was not all that disappointing. Plenty of features, power, and nice thick tires made for a pleasant 250 miles on many twisty mountain roads. Plus, it looks pretty futuristic,

Every couple months, I try to convince my wife that spending $60-70k on a decent used Conti GT would be a practical alternative to my newer (warrantied) Audi sedan.

Only experience I have with PDP is an offense on a bridge, so... I couldn’t say. The Jaboody guys can be ridiculous, but nowhere (imo) near the level that I’d guess he reaches.

It sounds like you’ve missed the Jaboody Dubs or Bruce Greene (et al.) streams of Phasmophobia. Those are absolutely hilarious.

You mean the newer bloated 2-series Gran Coupes?

Makes sense the taillights are super reminiscent of the new Audi A4/S4 lines, and it’s great to see this design trickle down into VW models.

Hopefully this dude got himself banned from flying on AA (ha) in the future with these antics. I hope some airlines share these “do not fly” lists with each other.

TIL tinting your car’s windows is a “flashy aftermarket upgrade”.

yeah, every time you shower it auto-uploads clips directly to your account

Don’t most new VW’s come with a digital speedo, or is that an add-on with these limited-editions (and others)? Seems odd for a non-”performance” car that they’d stick with a non-digital setup.

Was. No longer, it seems!

You know, safe, slow vehicle. Good starter car.

Still waiting for the B9 A5 Sportback version to be released over here; email from AWE’s team this morning says something to the effect of “we’re starting up R&D on the Sportback systems this summer but they’re not a priority”. Boooo.

Couldn’t say. Way above my pay grade, but they’re cool.

Not to mention AWE Tuning makes some of the best exhaust systems on the road today. I’ve had one on my last two Audis and a VW before that, absolutely no complaints -great sound, fit, finish, and no highway drone.
