Translation error?

I think that speech probably sounded better in the original German.

For me, this was the highlight of the whole show.

Yup, and it may get him killed.

I don't believe we've ever been told Mischa and Nadezhda's true surnames, and I think that's part of the spy vibe.

I thought the finale was a bit rushed, but this is an interesting series. i hope we see it back.

I think the manner of death — obviously professional — will raise questions. That assumes Elizabeth and Phillip left bodies behind. But if so, Natalia's Russian background will raise flags. It's the height of the Cold War, after all.

Elizabeth was right: Anna/Natalia *was* a monster.

I'm glad to see it back. And they should feel free to make it a pulpy episodic costume drama, too. We don't need the Rittenhouse sub-plot. We're here for the time travel. And on that topic, it's OK to leave the United States behind. We have a limited supply of history. Let's see the court of Queen Victoria, Rome,

Man, I dunno: Another 20 episodes of a new cast failing to learn the narrative lessons the old cast failed to learn time and time again. I suppose the fresh conceit is magic and storybook characters will inhabit the real world — but who knows?

Odd, but good news. The short season and no guarantees of a third should keep the narrative tight, too.

Wow, this series is gonna end ugly.

Last season was better than the one before, and the finale was a dignified stopping point. It was time. Fare thee well, Sleepy Hollow. We had some good times.

It may prove to be *the* high point of the whole series. A satisfying end to a story we've been living with since the spring of 2014. That's a long burn when it comes to TV. Season 5 is in the can; there will almost certainly be a Season 6, and Michael Hirst has made public comments that he's probably expecting to

Enough cheese to make me double up on my Simvastatin tonight. But it was also the best episode of the season — the best in a long time, really. OUaT quit being fun at some point (would anybody willingly re-watch the Arthurian story arc?), but this worked.

Good episode. But I was thinking the whole way through the RuPaul's Drag Race bit what a shame it will be if the reports are true and Bobby Moynihan doesn't return next season. He's the current king of SNL physical comedy, the natural heir of Will Ferrell, Chris Farley, and John Belushi. I'll also be sad to if Vanessa

Oooooh! A TV show about comic book superheroes. Why hasn't someone thought of this before?

I remember telling someone last year why I like Flash, even though as a CW show it's pretty clearly intended for a target demographic younger than me: it's fun. The characters aren't tortured or overly moralistic. The show doesn't take itself too seriously, and the various superheroes enjoy being superheroes.

The complicity of the Russian church and the Soviet state was a particularly bitter topic back then. The show just plops it right in front of us, a priest discussing his willing and long-term cooperation with the KGB. Brutal.

I'm concerned that Hirst wants to spin him into Magnus Barefoot. He's much too late, of course — but that hasn't stopped the show before. ;-)
