All the really need to do is an offhand comment saying “oh, a previous/future me took care of all that!” and then it’s done!

The quote is a direct reference to that scene in ToD, where Indy does fly the plane for a bit (and manages to avoid crashing into a mountaintop) but definitely doesn’t land it.

(or if the link is stripped from my post, just type “Picard trailer” into the YouTube search. It was the first one listed in my search results.)

You can still read Vulture if you use incognito mode (or the equivalent depending on browser). You have to close it and reopen for each article, which is tedious - I usually open the main page in the regular browser, then open the individual articles in incognito mode one at a time, but the one article limit resets

I love all the talent that will be involved in the new Gremlins animated show. What I don’t like it’s that it’s set in Shanghai, because “Mogwai” is very specifically a Cantonese word (means Devil or Demon). The Shanghainese and Mandarin versions mean the same thing, but they’re not pronounced the same. True, neither

Oh come on, Kevin Costner had a perfectly good American accent in that film!

That just made my day! Thanks!

The new one is just an overweight Ross, bored and lonely, regretting his decision to eat the other Friends.

Very true! I've got my own go-tos in that respect, but it does take time.

Thank! I've got Polygon on my RSS. I'm not into everything they do, but there are always some well worth reading every week!

Thank! I've heard of it in passing but haven't given it a look yet. I will do now.

It's always better when I know the songs, but he goes through the whole history and finds all the interesting angles (including all the film connections when

Which sites would you recommend for quality reviews these days?

She had a fun role recently in Toast of Tinseltown (the recent incarnation of Matt Berry’s Toast of London). She appeared in four episodes (of the six-episode series).

Kayvan Novak and Natasia Demetriou also turned up for an episode each, which was fun too.

Also got Jeremy Dyson on writing duties, so they have the full set!

It is, but management have their new directives. Have to get those clicks!

I know you guys aren’t so keen on Star Wars these days, but the original Star Wars should easily be here. (Empire Strikes Back is the better film, but the first one is the one most of us of my generation watched the most.)

Stephen Chow already cornered the Chinese mermaid market back in 2016. It’s batshit crazy, but what a film!

Yep, me too (I live in Vietnam)
