Isn't this basically the same thing the Real Racing 3 on iOS does? They call it "Time Shifted Multiplayer" and all it does is try to make you feel like you are racing against real people when it's really just AI controlled cars with the names of other players over them.

Same here...while even though I'm really looking forward to getting the device, I love the fact that they are being so meticulous with this. They easily could have slapped 85k of these together without the level of QA they are doing and said "Well, there ya go, enjoy!"
