Eh I think the sport reporters and athletes have a symbiotic relationship. When a reporter gives the opinion that you are great compared to your peers you get more recognition and thus more money. Without athletes sports reporters would have nothing to cover. Both sides benefit from the current arrangement.

Fair but if the options are 1 person dies or you get duct taped to the chair the right answer is pretty clear. 

I feel like the underage drinking is being played as though it’s supposed to be salacious but the reality is most people I know drank underage and most of them got the alcohol from people over 21 who knew the drinkers were underage.

Where I live the store is required to charge for bags, it’s not done so the store can make a profit on the bags but rather to encourage people to use reusable bags or just less bags overall to reduce waste. 

It seems like a a stretch to compare historical oppression bc of immutable characteristics to limitations bc a fully grown adult doesn’t want to get a shot that might cause an owie. 

I do really appreciate that opinion. Of the movies I’ve seen that people would consider “greatest of all time” I’d bet I watched all of them on TV and not in a theater. 

I think “they” know that. Why waste resources trying to stop an an unstoppable apocalypse. If you are a wealthy person your best bet is to continue to grow wealth and resources and hope that allows your children  and grandchildren a longer and more comfortable life than the peasants. Sounds like you have a rather dramatic and stressful relationship with your family. Letting go of those grudges will make you feel better in the long run and holding on to those grudges will never make you feel happy. 

Not to mention most pills take 20-45 minutes to kick in. So did this 13 year old have eyes on her for a solid half hour to see her be given a pill then later see her passed out and taken on the plane? 

I’m pretty sure the character in the movie is not named Amanda Knox so how has the movie stolen her name. A person wrongly accused of a crime in a foreign country is not exactly a new story idea.

I can admit that if you asked me 15 years ago I would have likely had similar thoughts to the people you talked to.

Can you help me with the letter of the law? Are they looking for some sort of illegal fuel additive? Is it illegal to run low on gas? Is it just that gas is missing and therefore we assume they are doing something illegal?

Free pass? Consequences? What exactly do you think should happen to a comedian who made jokes YOU didn’t think were funny?

Even if not speeding if I insured a car dealership I’d want to know an awful lot about who is allowed to drive customers cars, what training is provided to those people and why exactly it’s necessary to test drive a car after its first scheduled maintenance.

Eh no, the insurance company provides a lawyer to protect themselves. Unless you personally sign the contract with the lawyer he or she doesn’t represent you and owes a duty of loyalty to insurance company who hired. That lawyer will fuck you in a minute if it means saving the insurance company money and the lawyer…

I thought the same thing, the car was basically brand new getting its first service. It’s not like they replaced suspension parts and needed to make sure everything was right. 

Considering that like 40% of the movies she has done have Kung Fu in the title it seems reasonable to think she would have some sort of martial arts training.
