Why do people always use that as an excuse? Your argument is that, if you fail, no matter what you did you will be criticized. Isn’t that the most obvious argument for making the best decision?
Fellow Packers fan here, and for the amount of times we’ve actually succeeded on trick plays with McCarthy, I couldn’t agree more. The idea that Arizona could expect anything OTHER than the extra point is what could have been the difference.

I don’t understand why teams in the Packers position don’t go for 2. You’re choosing OT - where you might not even touch the ball again - over 1 play from the 2 yard line. And if your the Packers, wouldn’t you take Aaron Rodgers from the 2 to win the game all day?
