I was a little skeptical about the game when I heard about some of the changes, but so far I actually am having a great time with DS2. More so than DS1 even.

I'm a guy who recently lost quite a bit of weight and heard this quite a bit. I just assumed it was "bro science" and didn't give it much credence. However, I did notice that it seemed like I could see a change in my appearance earlier than some of my female friends who were also working to lose weight. Whe I lost my…

Somewhere, Cooper Manning rattles his chains and unleashes an inhuman howl from his cage in the Manning's attic. There will be no celebratory loosening of his manacles this year.
"So before you send death threats to people, or give out zeroes on Metacritic,"
I was happy to buy a used copy Deadpool for dirt cheap. After playing it, I can say that I loved it, but there's no way I would have paid full price for that game.
I kind of feel bad for the devs, as people will probably scrutinize every decision and bit of news about the development process to a painful degree after the last fiasco. I hope they are able to wipe away the awful memory of CM. Very glad Gearbox has nothing to do with this game.
Agree. I was really into the Alien comics (DH i think made them), and I thiose could provide a lot of good material/charters or at least a starting off point for some good material for a game.

He is right. I look at GTAV, and even the console version of Crysis 3 and its pretty clear that there is still a lot of potential.
Have to agree with this. While I, and many others, are sick of how shrill the fanboys on either side get, the competition will hope mean we as gamers will win in the end.
Thanks for including RDR on this list. I'm a firm believer that the reason GTA V is so good is because of many of the mechanics that were created in older GTA games and refined in RDR.
I agree. I loved the game's story and themes it addressed, and that's what kept me playing. The actual gameplay, combat specifically, was forgettable. If you asked me what my favorite power or weapon was, I'd be hard pressed to tell you because none of them really stood out to me. Again , I'm pretty forgiving when…
Morrissey was excited for Thanksgiving, but heaven knows he's miserable now.
Cool. I can definitely appreciate his videos more now that I know it's sort of an act.
I know there's going to be a lot of argument about this, but thanks for the article. I'm sort of torn. While I mostly just want a gaming console, I lean toward the PS4. However, my significant other is not a gamer, but loves that she can get HBO, Netflix, HULU and her music via our 360.
Not a deal breaker, but do you really have to download an app to play blue ray? Does anyone know if you'll have to do the same for the PS4? Also curious to see if you need to have a gold subscription to download that app. I don't have many Blue ray movies anymore (stream most of my movies now) but I have a few that I…
I'm old too. While I understand why Sony and MS want to get in on the whole social aspect of online gaming. I have at least 3 other devices that allow me to use social networks like FB, Twitter Etc... What I don't have is something that will play the next generation of awesome video games, hence the actual reason why…
Yeah, while I wouldn't mind my PSN connecting with Facebook, I'd feel reallybad about cluttering up my friend's feeds with what is basically spam. I enjoy the social aspect of gaming, but why, oh why, did Sony have to go with Facebook.
I've not been following the launch hullabaloo all that closely, but I thought one of Sony's big selling points was that the PS4 would not have the same downloading/installation issues as the PS3? Didn't Cerny mention something about this?
