Even if you think that’s true*, I still don’t really see why a useless purity statement is their #2 issue. There was a credible report during the campaign that at his first national security briefing, Trump asked why we couldn’t just nuke our enemies in the Middle East. And it was AFTER that report that he was exposed as having no idea what the Nuclear Triad is. He just really wants a chance to irradiate somebody.
