He firmly believes the American people work for him, not the other way around

The deflection of the immigration problem shows just how much of a pathological liar he is. He simply cannot tell the truth and will tell an obvious lie whenever he can. I really want a reporter to tell Trump the sky is blue, only for him to respond by saying it’s red or purple and insist upon that.

No, he is entirely serious and wants people to bow in his presence. He’s just smart enough to know that everyone else would be appalled by the statement.
