Wow, that was damn skippy. Thanks for mentioning it.

Bless you.
I’m gonna spend the rest of the afternoon here at work trying to come up with one for “The Red Wheelbarrow,” and I’ll tell you right now I’m going to come up empty.
Oh shit, they have Cornman?
And not only that, whoever arranged the commercial version was apparently like “Hey, you know what would make this song better? If I inexplicably alter one of the notes for the background singers in a way that will set on edge the teeth of anyone familiar with the original version!”
I just wish Safelite would write a new jingle that FUCKING RESOLVES at the end. Every time that commercial plays, I’m left hanging and I’m out of kilter for the whole rest of the day.
The Eye-Network’s Mind was, in my view, Cronenberg’s most underrated project.
He really should have let you punch that letter up.
That’s when a first was a first.
Oh NOW I get it.
I couldn’t agree more. Now, I do wonder if you’ve ever truly considered the benefits of a good garbage USB charger...
I don’t mean to be part of the problem but I’d read the fuck out of that article and I guarantee I’m not the only one.
But, and this is very important... are they “kind of everything”?
Oh no, she was on board with the G’n’F’n’R. Just a stickler for safety.
My young daughter used to fire up Burnout Paradise and pretend she was dropping her kids off at school, then driving to work. She obeyed all traffic laws. It was infuriating to watch.
My personal go-to example of this gradual change is Quarter Pounders, which I maintain used to be miles tastier than they are today.
They used to be called Sugar Smacks, Sugar Pops, Sugar Crisp, etc., but thank god they took all the sugar out of the recipes, so now I can eat them all day without ill effect. Just wholesome honey and, uh, “golden,” I guess?
I wanted to listen to Hunkpapa by Throwing Muses, but of course that’s the ONE TM album that’s not available on Spotify or even iTunes. WTF. Anyway I listened to it on YouTube yesterday so I got some satisfaction, but really.
I didn’t pick up on that and haven’t watched the initial episodes for years, but I did see an echo in the final shot, pulling up into the sky over the surrounded trailer, like when Rick was hiding in/under that tank early on?
