Should have come here when I read about the Grand Cherokee Hellcat and suggested that and a Challenger Hellcat

I wouldn’t be surprised if it will be available in a 2500 chassis before the end of the hellcat (since the drive train can take the 800+ft lbs of torque from the Cummings. But I don’t know how sporty it would be.

So first of all you compared a small piece of debris to a whole nascar. While that is very scary, and I have my own opinions on that, that is completely different.

I mean whats the point of not getting canopy to stop something that can happen anyway?

I agree, but at some point a really big risk to driver has to be worse then a very small to spectators.

So it killed him and still managed to bounce off and into the crowed?

Don’t most stands have catch fences? Also on average how many times would it bouncing off go anywhere near the crowed? maybe 1 in 20? I fail to see how we would rather kill (or severely injurer) multiple drivers just to prevent anything hitting the fences once in a blue moon.

Yes very. I wish more people read it thinking about this

I thought it was posted recently, Thanks

Furthermore, they worried about objects deflecting off the canopies and into spectator areas given the way the tire bounced off of the jet fighter canopy.

Won’t be any dirt left in there at all

Better strap the kids down tight or they will get sucked into those intakes.

I am just disappointed that he didn’t get the checkered flag when he crossed the finish line.

While I am all for someone trying a Hellcat Viper (I give it 10 months), even with a dry sump oil system its going to leave a bludge big enough in the hood to make it pretty hard to see.

Cuban government thought it would be a great idea and international attention-grabber if they secretly kidnapped one of the race front-runners.

I know, hence saying “(on average or not)“ but that doesn’t mean they could raise prices and lower them later.

If Tesla is losing 4 grand per car (on average or not) could they not raise the price? They aren’t cheep to begin with and I doubt anyone choosing to by one would be swayed by that much money.

The idea behind it was with the current rules they could get more down force on the front of the car for less drag and make use of having the power go to the front. Everything was based around that idea. They may also be having some drive go to the rear if they can manage to get it working and they find it
