And que the people who hate this car saying “Told you so, its not even racing now”

No.....

They started canceling some without explanation a while ago. My dad received his a month ago. He was shown a order form for one ordered around the same time as his that was canceled without explication, and his was almost because they dropped an option that he had spec’ed.

In my opinion: this is physics, you can’t not be literal with physics. But that said if everything in the article was being analogous are torque is to force then that would be fine, but it isn’t.

While I agree with most of what he says, the physics he uses to explain it is faulty.

I stopped going to napa after my Mom went in to pick up a simple fuel line disconnect in 2 sizes. (I couldn’t because the close so damn early) and they sold her a non-returnable one in the wrong size.

I know this comment will get drowned out, but I feel like I must say I disagree with all but 3 of these.

That “go kart” is their electric FSAE car. Might be worth adding that to the article.

Oh wow

Ok, I knew there were some differences between the rules, but didn’t think it was that much.

Yes, everyone makes mistakes. The point is they didn’t know it then... making the mistake is not the problem.

In Canada (and I as far as I know in the state as well) the licensed professional engineers are legally obligated to do everything in their power to not endanger people. That means anything as far as go public or throw your self on the production line. I am not saying the management shouldn’t be in trouble, but I want

Never mind the execs getting charged, what about the engineers? I know more about the engineering code of ethics in Canada, and I think there is something similar in the states. So shouldn’t they be in trouble to? I think you can get your license removed for stuff like the GM Ignition and Tarka Airbags.

I like the idea, but big problems.

Everything I see about these aluminum trucks bothers me, not because it is stupid or wrong or anything like that. I hate it because everyone is stupid about it. Even Ford says “military grade Aluminium” which is bullshit. Even if they are using a fancy alloy its most likely still commercial grade; if it is military

Where I go to school has a lot of students living around and it is hilarious to see them driving around in U-Hauls.

Christian Von Koenisgess is coming for the people who shut this down

Most of the ones I heard over the last 2 years weren’t that good, and were announced just because they were funny, so many teams forget diesel spark plugs.

Been and competed at Michigan twice now. One of my favorite parts is walking around the pits and seeing all the cars. Everyone (or almost) is willing to take a moment and talk to you about the car. Unfortunately usually don’t have enough time really look around (too busy fixing).

Could you have found a creepier picture?
