I think I still remember how to make jenkem.

[Trump issues executive order mandating that only people who voted for him can buy alcohol]

Not a problem; teleprompters don't do any good if you're illiterate.

O'Reilly can do some real sexy stuff with falafel, though.

Does this mean my nightmare is over and the quarantine is being lifted?

Dumbass, I did.

You're a staff.

A shame the president is so omni-incompetent that his shitty son-in-law has to try to strongarm the media on his behalf.

Shepard Smith is not even remotely representative of Fox's coverage of Trump. Unlike everyone else there, Smith has both a spine and a moral compass.

Do you not see a difference between saying "Your coverage of me sucks ass, I should throw you out," and calling some corporate overlord and saying "Hey, remember that thing you need from us? Well we've got this problem with your news channel…"?

Hey, remember how Fox News is actively harmful to the political discourse while CNN is merely incompetent or, at worst, negligent?

I think putting any stock in the fact that she's "the most admired" is pretty silly in and of itself. Being admired clearly wasn't enough to make her good at reading the electoral map, or even likable. Despite the fact that she's so admired, she's somehow the second least popular presidential candidate ever, behind…

Thinking of presidential elections as if they're popularity contests is exactly why we're in this mess.

That view fails to account for the fact that Hillary was the second most unlikable presidential candidate in history (behind you know who) and that she ran an objectively bad campaign. She trusted Robbie Mook's algorithm over people in the ground in several states she needed but wound up losing. She lost a gimme.

Those things you were talking about don't affect state elections nearly as much as federal elections, and Democrats don't even try to win state elections. Your argument doesn't really address the fundamental weakness of the Democrats.

Nope, still silly.

Did you know that states have governments too?

I didn't say it was anti feminist. I just think it's hard to draw a bright line on something like this and it usually winds up being ironically paternalistic.

Sure, but his sort would rather be taken for a troll than a moron, so moron it is.

Also, it's not as if Trump couldn't have been trying to institute a Muslim ban piecemeal. Start with a few countries, see how it shakes out in the courts, then keep adding countries until you've banned the majority of the Muslim world.
