The Swiss strike me as having even less tolerance for frivolity than your typical Teuton.

I'm just going to eat an orange that I left in a bag in the sun for a couple weeks.
No you're not.
But you're just wrong there. This is extremely simple: the impulse behind punching a Nazi is to keep the Nazi from feeling safe being a public Nazi. The problem that solves is Nazis being in public, which is a problem because history has shown us explicitly what happens when that's allowed.
If you think there is no difference between punching a Nazi—who explicitly wants to commit genocide—and banning Muslims because you think a few bad apples spoil the bunch, you are deeply confused.
Now we're back to the dril tweet.
Jesus, draw the curtains.
Generally I'd say you're right. But dealing with Nazis is a special case if there ever was one.
Please, elucidate your position.
I'm just going to post this every time someone tries to draw a comparison between punching Nazis and being a Nazi.
Seriously, you don't understand the way liberal discourse is absolutely powerless to deal with someone who loathes liberal discourse. Once you are convinced that genocide is good, argument and reason are fucking worthless. We have historical antecedents for this.
Dude, you're really confused about some stuff.
Any meaningful strategy for resistance is going to require that at least some people be willing to go to jail. It's never been any different.
What if someone's words explicitly entail the necessity of violence for achieving their ends? Can you punch them now so they don't gas you later?
Has it occurred to you that people still being excited about things like this augurs well for their political engagement?
True, but only at a level of theory most people don't ever consider.
Eh, Maoists and Leninists would bristle at being lumped in with mere socialists, who might not be sufficiently revolutionary for their tastes.
"Jonad."
You know you're getting that good shit when someone's reasoning goes "punching Nazis = anarchism."
Is it ever okay to punch someone?
