Yeah, one of the things about visiting Venice is that they publicize the fact that the name of one area is the ghetto, and even claim its the “original” ghetto. So no, the black culture does not own ghetto in any way, shape, or form.

The word Ghetto pre-dates the holocaust as well ( it’s Italian ). Ghettos were the districts where the Jews in European cities lived.
