Wow, there really IS a Poorly-Aged Trump Tweet for everything he says now.

Last I checked, more people voted for Hillary than Trump. They were just undermined by a system that assumed that both the people, existing government and electoral college would be a proper safeguard from this brand if corruption.

Hell is empty, and all the devils are here.

Well, that would be a tiny silver lining to this absolute tragedy..... AS I said over at Splinter, I will fly down there this winter and help register the new Floridians and get their changes of address processed, and whatever they need.

LMMs tweets have been the bright spot in this whole terrible mess. No one can do take-downs like a songwriter and raconteur!

This is the truest of all true things. People down there have been digging out their neighbors, sharing their food, water, and fuel, and clearing roads and rescuing their neighbors with their bare hands. There’s not a whole heck of a lot they can do beyond that when the Feds will not send the Sea Bees to rebuild the

Oh, honey, it wasn’t the liberals. It was the people who voted for Trump (19%), the people who stayed home (? %), the people who were scammed by the Russians, and the people who signed on to assist in voter suppression, voter disenfranchisement, and gerrymandering.

My mom read that tweet out loud, and dad summarily threw the remote control across the room. He did, in fact, tell Puerto Ricans that it’s up to them to dig themselves out, when they don’t even have fucking POWER. Does he not realize they’re part of our country? ...oh wait, that’s a stupid fucking question.

If Trump was smart then he would be wanting to help Puerto Rico for purely mercenary political purposes. Leaving aside the optics of this becoming like Katrina, this could hurt his chances of reelection.

Could be anything that would give him and his cronies a way to milk the island for money and resources. We really need to watch for this possible move.

Beyond disgusting, yes, but there is something else he may be weaseling toward: is Trump working his way up to some kind of corrupt privatization plan or (another) round of looting by big banks in Puerto Rico? He keeps harping on “doing something” about the island’s debt and trying to portray the island’s officials

Lin Manuel Miranda has been patiently positive during the past nine months of Trump’s administration—most of his tweets on politics are usually light on criticism and heavy on encouraging engagement and angel-bettering. While I’ve been in a constant state of burn-it-all-to-the-ground, I’ve admired Miranda’s ability to

I’ve been feeling pretty depressed about the outcome of the German general election last Sunday, but then I look to the US and feel almost privileged that we get another 4 years with Merkel. She has her flaws, but good Lord, this vile orange piece of human garbage is intolerable!

The only constant about AAA games is that everyone will bitch about something. All I ever heard from Destiny 1 was how overpowered some guns were and RNGesus fucking everyone over with low drop rates of said guns. Thorn, Gally, Ice Breaker, Black Spindle. “Ohhh, Bungie...make things different! I’m sick of dropping

This actually makes me want the game even more. I don’t need my life to revolve around the games I play. I’d never thought I’d see people complaining about the lack of grind in a game.

MMO elitists loathe the ‘common man’ who only has a few hours at best to play, compared to the massive chunk of time devoted fans set aside to grind away. However, without the common man, no MMO can hope to maintain itself very long.

Well, another point is that there really isn’t a place to go for people that want the MMO without the hardcore. As much as people say games like WoW and what not have gotten more casual; they are still HUGE time sinks. Destiny has the opportunity to sweep in and fill that void; and it’s probably the best game to do so.
