Nah, that's nonsense. If you are extremely valuable in the most important parts of your job you can get away with avoiding shit that is not essential.
You notice how his contract is with the Seahawks who care not at all about his behavior?

They barely even ask questions; they decide what they want the player to say to fit their story, then hit them with a "Can you talk about X…?"

The biggest thing I learned buying my my last car (think I could have done better) is have a magic number in mind at the first dealership you go to. If they can't match it you have to walk away and try another dealership. I think my wife and at some point subconsciously decided we were walking out that day with the

I don't remember the context but wasn't the name "Gregory Strong" used? GOT reference?

All I gotta say is "obsessive liking" is goddamn terrible phrase

"Atom…what about the Saints, Angels, Padres too? Ain't that the same thing for Christians that's offending you?"

Atom and His Package - "If You Own the Washington Redskins You're a Cock"

I would be utterly amazed to find that Ryan North could ever do wrong.

Chris Farren is an American hero

He had a show that came out on Netflix a while back, but I haven't watched it for fear it is not good…amazingly I have seen zero talk about it anywhere.

Well given that he is narrating the story, I think the most obvious answer is that he is intentionally dropping those hints. I don't think it is unreasonable to think it is less obvious to an in-story person listening to him vs one reading the book. Personally I didn't pick up on it without reading something outside

I think the difference is this seems completely contrived, the Poochie comparison seems exactly right.
