Violet should have won. She knew what she wanted and didn't let anyone stop her. That little marshmallow Charlie is never going to be able to run a factory.

Didn't Madeline herself tell him that at one time ...?

I don't understand why she didn't.  He was just ... all of a sudden not there.

I think the inherent flaw in this season is that it’s just so nonsensical that they’re keeping this lie up, and that the police are (seemingly) pursuing it. This isn’t Thelma and Louise shooting a rapist and then driving off a cliff because a woman can’t get no justice in this cruel world; there was an

Ok guys, can we finally discuss the elephant in the room? That elephant being Nathan’s raging boner for Ed. I mean, it would explain WHY he just keeps coming back to Ed unprovoked, repeating the same pattern of firstly “Oh I want to apologize/put the past behind/get closer/ask a favour” and then, 5 seconds later,

Nah. Fuck Trump, and fuck you for telling me that I should somehow feel bad about trashing that embarrassing piece of shit.

Twas a bad day to be orange.

Gonna take a minute to start getting comments on this post because we’re all trying to figure out how to call that bar and buy a round for the house.

I guess I’m in the minority here, but I thought the questions would be even more stupid.

Non-profit probably. Have been in the same position. However, what I used to do is call the restaurant and ask them to add the gratuity to the INITIAL CHARGE in whatever way they could (like charge it like it was an in house party of over six) so we could both tip and pass an audit. With all these delivery dudes on

someone better get me my Nero Wolfe movie sharpish

Yep, looks like fun. I’m on board.

Really? I would have thought it’s all the concentration camps were running in the desert.

Thesis: the fact that “competitive eating” is a sport is, in one event, a distillation of all that is wrong with America.

I’m holding out hope that the Ed-Nathan antagonism is building towards an unlikely alliance that helps them both, and helps them get their wives out of a jam. Between Ed’s powers of observation (held back by his near-total inability to assert himself in constructive ways) and Nathan’s penchant for bold action

I didn’t love it. I think it was a great moment for the show, but I didn’t revel in it. It takes a lot for me to love a slap because I’m a nonviolent person. The slap on The Good Wife was the best slap in television history thus far, a very earned slapped, and will not be topped anytime soon.

What she said before she got slapped was really awful.  I mean she blamed Celeste for Perry raping other women.  Mary Louise is pretty abusive herself, just not physically.

I never thought I’d cheer for someone for slapping Meryl Streep in the face.

Yeah the Elizabeth/Bonnie shit has got to go. It seems ported in from a completely different series.

You know, I know folks talk about Pedro and the presentation of his sexuality in the mainstream was huge - and it is - but as a Latino, who graduated HS that summer getting ready to attend Harvard that fall, he was the first real representation that no matter all the racism I faced, the nastiness of people telling me
