It seems like he has this backwards. People pay for HBO because it produces quality content that people want to pay for. Netflix pours billions into producing their own content in the hope that it’ll take off, because their business model of licensing other people’s content isn’t always going to be sustainable. 

I saw antman yesterday. I liked it. The MCU needs smaller stories like that to balance the infinity war heavyness. I'm not burnt out on Marvel yet, but after Avengers 4 and maybe some secret wars stuff, I'll need a break before the next phase
