Ooh, interesting question. I didn’t even have a notion of what a bad game was when I was little - any game was a good game.

Never heard of Kill It With Fire, but it speaks to my soul. So many other family members are like “Just capture it and release it outside!” Fuck no. I’ve seen Arachnophobia. I know how this ends. Not on my watch.

I’d love love love it if this game got re-released and was available on PC. Even if it was just UPlay. I will play this on UPlay. That’s how much I want it.

Honestly, I like a good grind, and these steps are all generic enough that you’ll complete them doing whatever it is you’re normally doing. Except 10 Gambit matches. Fuck Gambit.

Ethan, FYI: Bungie just confirmed that progress is sped up on alts. Once you complete the first set, the second set goes at 2x speed, then the third set at 3x speed. So much less of a grind!

Dizzy Heights - Move to one of the sides, and ALWAYS go with the flow of the spinning platform. I have never failed to qualify doing this.

More Death Stranding. Traipsing through the mountains right now, which is a pain until I link up the outposts, at which point ziplines go up EVERYWHERE. These things totally break the game and I don’t care because WHEEEEEE!

They spent five minutes trying to dress up “Light attack combos with a slower heavy attack” as something new and exciting. So yeah, not that thrilling.

Clutter is a whole thing over here. I’m living with a relative so I have no say in the matter, but the garage is so full of nonsense that I’ve been tempted to just call someone to haul it all away and feign ignorance. There are bottles of cleaning solution from the 70's. There are legs to furniture that no longer

That may be what he meant, but that’s not at all what he said.

Sorry to hear about the lack of job, and the mental health baggage that comes with it. I had a similar experience, and eventually therapy and visiting a nurse practitioner to start a medication regimen to improve my anxiety/depression helped turn it around. I still have that voice calling myself a fucking idiot all

Your story is oddly specific to one of my own, and mine kind of is an important document - my diploma. I’ve never been a particularly sentimental person, I don’t really have attachments to objects, but if I ever need to produce that diploma for any reason, I have no clue where it is. Shoved in a closet in my dad’s

Death Stranding. I feel like I should not like this core gameplay loop at all. Pick up package, drive/walk somewhere else, deliver, repeat... but it’s pretty zen. Kinda like Euro Truck Simulator, it’s just... nice? Couldn’t care less about the story, though, which is weird for a Kojima game.

I don’t think I’ve ever put together a list of my fravorite videogame songs of all time, but if I did, Chemical Plant Zone is a shoe-in for Top 5. I recommend looking at OC Remix - they have a ton of awesome remixes of this track.

Carrot cake is the best cake. I will not be taking any questions at this time.

While you were learning about haiku, he studied the blade.

This is really stretching the definition of “platformer.” If I’m going by this heretical criteria, then Hollow Knight, Super Metroid, and Super Mario World.

The AC in my office/gameroom is permanently set to 72. I’m not tolerating any of this Southern heat nonsense.

Gonna keep on keepin’ on with Jedi: Fallen Order. Despite a lot of nitpicks that I have, it’s actually been getting more and more fun over time, which is depressingly rare for games. Most of the time games put their best foot forward, then just keep doing that for 30 hours. For a random example that always sticks with
