Taken can’t exist without something to Take. And that power was already with Akka, so if that’s all the Darkness needed, they would never have bothered with the Hive after escaping Fundament. Just Take them and Take everything else across the universe, game over.

Whats been implied heavily by everything so far is that The Darkness is essentially Entropy. Which is why The Darkness finds Sword Logic beautiful.

I was struggling with this as well. “Voting with my wallet” doesn’t do much when the last Blizzard product I bought was Overwatch at launch, but I can vote with my bandwidth, so to speak. If player population and lootbox sales are low for the Halloween event, maybe that will at least give them pause.

I have an idea about what it all means, but it’s largely dependent on one of the bigger unanswered questions regarding the Darkness and the Hive; mainly whether or not the Sword Logic and the ‘Final Shape of the Universe’ is actually what the Darkness is pursuing, or if that’s a crock of shit it sold to the Hive

This is one of the best things about the Moon weapons. The ones that require activities completed and kills on the moon - Auto Rifle, MG, Hand Cannon - can all be done in the Vex Offensive as well. So you can grab Moon weapon quests, then grab Vex Offensive weapon quests, then grab Gunsmith Bounties and Ikora

Totally fine with Helena going. Anyone who hasn’t watched previous seasons and learned the lesson about rose/lavender/making-food-taste-like-soap has no one to blame but themselves, and her signature had less than nothing to do with anything related to the 20's. She’s been a one-trick pony from the start.

Stacking bounties is great, but for it to really pay off players should have been doing it for weeks. Spider’s Weeklies are worth 3k, as are Ada’s Weeklies, and her dailies are 2k. 63 of those will go a lot farther than planetary bounties and Vanguard/Crucible ones.

As for ignoring armor: don’t ignore it yet. Armor 2.0

I FREAKING KNEW IT

When Animal Crossing comes out, my wife and I will be fighting for time on our one Switch. I’m considering buying a Switch Lite solely to alleviate that problem. :P

Pulling a bunch of smaller games off the backlog before Shadowkeep murders my free time. This weekend it’ll be Pinstripe and Duskers.

Been on the fence about MH:W for a while because I would likely just be a solo player. Glad to hear it holds up well! I may jump on it the next time it’s on sale. :)

I know the feeling of seizing up before battle because you really don’t want to hear the battle music. As someone who absolutely adores Chrono Cross, I loathe the regular combat music, and it makes me want to avoid combat as much as humanly possible.

Happy to see Chrono Cross get some love. I think it gets crapped on way too much.

At the time, Tricky was a revelation, but I think SSX3 is actually the better sequel. In Tricky I never really felt like I had any sense of speed or momentum. The little speedometer in the bottom could say I was going 50mph and I’d still feel like I was just crawling along.

Running low on Shadowkeep prep, so I’m finally playing other games again, and I’d forgotten what a god damn delight A Hat In Time Is. I’ll be playing that as much as possible this weekend.

Oh God, yeah, I’d forgotten about that. Huge pain in the ass.

I was vaguely aware of this game, but I didn’t realize it was Platinum, and I didn’t realize it was full of extra stuff like this. Color me interested!

Problem is the game was never good at exploration, because of the samey-ness and the fact that there was never really anything interesting to find. Every planet had the same crab monsters and the same abandoned bases and the same doodads to increase inventory space and... you get the idea.

If exploration has improved,

Another huge update, another attempt for me to get into the game. I keep trying to like it, really wanting to like it, but the “Craft this to craft this to craft this to craft this” and general samey-ness of everything keeps putting me off. Maybe this will be the update to finally get me into it.

You are not wrong about the beginning (and middle) of the Presequel. I think it really picks up about halfway through, but it’s a major slog to get through those. There was another super obnoxious one, I don’t remember all the specifics, but I think you’re trying to freeze a lake to cross it. Go here and find the
