I go to 20ish MLB games per year and hear a lot of renditions of the Anthem.  My experience is that the crowd responds better to the simple, clean, well delivered versions than the ones where the singer is jerking off on the mic.

Hard end seems a bit extreme  I wonder if they already had some issues going on behind the scenes?

The only gripe I have with this show are some dropped plotlines, such as one of the daughters suddenly having fangs and a tail, then nothing more about then. Maybe that will be addressed in S4? I love the cast, particularly Ben and Leland. Can’t wait for it to return!
