Henson liked dark, but in a fairytale sense, and still kid friendly. He was admimantly opposed to doing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, and basically said he’d do the effects, but would help witb none of the directing. It took a lot of fast-talking by the director to even keep him on board.

I’m really confused by that. I know money makes the world go round, but FNAF even in it’s earliest, PG-13 levels is a little anthetical to Henson’s legacy.

Poltergiest was decent. Riddled with flaws, but decent. It had some interesting commentary on the effects of modern technology on our dwindling home and social lives.

Wait, they’re actually doing this practical? It’s not just a SyFy Channel CGI garbage bin?

...So you want things spoonfed.

I think the advent of the Mobile Market and Flappy Bird has done this to us. It’s true that as soon as formula pops up, everyone on the market is quick to copy, to the point where I just don’t bother to check Google or Apple store for new games. It’s true that copy-catism has always been a thing in gaming; how many

Each game builds new elements into them, to the point where across the four sequels, 1 and 4 are very different. The basic element of “Scary Character Jumps Out” is still there, yes, but the mechanism for avoiding (Or getting trapped) by these scares does change itself up. There’s also a constantly unfolding narrative

Anyone so egocentric that they feel they’re qualified to decide what people should or shouldn’t like, especially in the micro/indie sector, is an unadulterated jackass.

I’ve been extolling the virtues of salt for years. Nobody ever believes me, especially with coffee, unless I slip it in and then they beg me to tell them what brand of coffee I use. Then, and only then can I convince them of the magical powers of salt.

Okay, I’ve gotten through all these games. They were unnerving, but thats fine. I could deal.

Christ. I grew up using one of those things. It was terrible.

I am totally going to take a shot at seasalt icecream bars with this!

Good riddance I say. Obtrusive ads have been the cause of more crashes thanks to Flash gobbling up ram with constantly looping commercials than any other event for me in the last two years. If sites really need ad revenue that desperately, they need to find another way to keep running.

As we study sexuality more, we start learning that sexuality really is more fluid than we give it credit for. I do know cases of people who do go for that one ‘special’ person, despite an entire history substantiating of courting the other gender. It happens. I think your reaction does come off the idea of people

The reality is Tumbler really demonstrates “Opressed becoming the opressers”. They are well known for a severe “Hurt them before they hut us” mentality, often to the point of looking for problems where there aren’t any, or at least overdramatizing in this situation.

Does anyone else watch this, expecting it all to just flop off the model’s head like a bad wig? Or maybe flip up and reveal it’s a sentient creature like Fizgig? That is way too much hair moving at once!

The PS4’s library is still very anemic, to the point where for many it’s not worth it to plug the PS4 in in favor of the PS3.

Suspension of disbelief is different for everyone. Some naturally, or artificially are able to get their fight-or-flight responses going even when there isn’t a need to. It’s actually very easy to do. Fear of public speaking is one of those cases: There’s absolutely no physical danger of messing up public speaking,

Welcome to an ancient practice. Harvest Moon has been doing the gendered thing for ages.
