LOL!

Are you challenging your notions here? Or no?

Only because you deem it so. The consequence of inconveniencing others is exactly the same. In fact, the person who chooses to spread out is capable of accommodating people around him. The other has no choice but to be an inconvenience.

And the seat next to him that he is not near, no one is in it.

I'm a man and I think that the vast majority of people are so self-involved that they never consider how their actions impact the nebulous mass of strangers around them.

Taking up more than an allotted amount of space on a crowded plane: Perfectly fine if you are fat.

"Dude, sniff the crouch of your pants when you take them off tonight."

Because if not for his shoes that pole on the subway would have been a bastion of cleanliness.

And do you also guarantee that he didn't immediately accommodate? Why?

I've never once smelt genitals in public.

I wouldn't call slouching comfortably while scrolling through a smartphone mindlessly, "aggressive," though. This entire subject is nitpicking, or rather, nearly every photo we've seen on it is an example of nitpicking.

I've never once seen a dick and balls in public, but if I did I'd be in total agreement with you on this. As it stands, when a guy wears baggy jeans, you can't see anything. So, your entire premise is riDICK(and balls)ulous.

He could be a eunuch for all you can tell from that picture.

I kind of wish that feminist sites like this one wouldn't embrace this nonsense.

This guy looks like an idiot, but who is he bothering?

I honestly have no idea what the hell you are talking about. I don't go around judging people so hyperactively as to attribute personality traits upon them, regardless of their gender, based on their posture while seated on the subway.

See... umm... what? You can't see anything.

Agreed. This guy is being a dick.

I know! The pic you posted is actually, I would think, an example of someone being courteous on public transit. He's positioning himself as far away from the other person as he can. In fact, if he were sitting with his legs scrunched together, facing forward, he'd be inconveniencing the person next to him more than

"It's not that he's squeezing out someone next to him, it's the psychology behind his body language and how we perceive it"
