Brit here. You are the first person ever to commit the phrase ‘British rail has their act together’to print. Never thought to see this in my lifetime. Will be copying this comment to everyone in my address book. And photographing this screen to prove that a real person actually said this.

Most shitty cars can be tuned into decent performance cars. That doesn’t make the initial product any better.

wHy CaNt ThEy LoWeR tHe RoAd Or RaIsE tHe tRaIn TrAcK?

Is the wrong answer.

A very good 205 GTi in Europe will cost you over $20k US. Easily. And for good reason. They’re considered classics already.

This take is a Teutonically bad take. You win cars and coffee forever with this sucker. NP.

If you’re honestly commuting 2 hours in part because you don’t want to run a front plate, I would respectfully suggest that your priorities are way out of wack. Sure, it’s annoying, but 10 hours in the car a week level of annoyance? Nopesville.

I love how upset North Americans get over having to run a front plate on their cars. You guys really know how to get worked up about nothing because “it’s taking away your rights” compared to just ignoring all actual problems.

The old Reliant engine plant at Shenstone, Princess Anne visited it once, you know?

This is an incredibly bad take. The new Jaguar design language is amazing, striking, and elegant as ever. Their “corporate face” wasn’t working since it was essentially unchanged since the fucking 60s and their sales were suffering. Their new design language injected much needed life into the brand, their problem now

I will certainly grant you that basically everything looks better with gulf livery :P. Here’s one in silver.

Now playing

I wasn’t aware that 911s came with a collapsed sun option.

Haha... Growler.... Hahaha

For some reason, this doesn’t really upset me, but I’ve never really had the same kind of hard-on for the F40 that most Jalops seem to. It seems like a car that’s vastly more interesting when it’s someone else’s problem.

On the front.

God what an ugly car.

It was assembled by Subaru as well, come on dude.

As much as I like these cars, it still seems to go against DIY ethics, that they chose to bring in American cars to copy the lowriders here in the US, instead of turning their own cars into lowriders. They have plenty of long bodied RWD sedans that they could turn into lowriders:

Yeah, so to be fair, most Opel cars of the past 30 years are this meh - even the new Regal isn’t that far removed from meh-ness...

I remember Cascada back in the day. They are fairly attractive. The style is a bit too Euro for me, so maybe they’re mostly ignored in USA. I am really surprised that they still have fans around the world.
