Er, Renault and Nissan do share most/all of their platforms. That’s what the CMF platforms are, the 1.5DCI has been stuck in everything, and the other engines are widely shared about. This applies to US sold vehicles as well, the Altima is on the same platform as the Laguna. Virtually every other US market Nissan has
