This. My SIL finds it so important to tell all of my nieces that they are beautiful. She is really proud of this. I do not get it. Why do we need to be/feel beautiful?

It does fuck you up.  Neither I or my sister can sleep unless there is food in. When we travel we bring food to keep in the hotel room or bedroom of the home we’re staying in.

This is horrible and I am sorry.  I cannot believe that anyone uses peanuts in household products in this day and age.

We’re from a blue NE state though we’re all scattered now. My kiddo moved out west to a red state but then came back for a short time.

Believe it or not it was the same when I was working as a nurse in long term care.  I had a ton of sick and vacation time that I couldn’t use.  Vacations were denied and calling out sick meant a call back from administration telling you that you had to come in.

Yeah, me too. I’m letting her have it though because my hands won’t be germ free after I wash them and a damp towel is a good place for those germs to multiply.

Food wise, nothing because we only bought a few extras of what we always use. I did get about a month & a half’s worth of dog food because I absoloutely did NOT want to be confined to my apartment with a dog having digestive troubles from a food change. I do have 2 boxes of mucinex that I will probably never use.

My DIL has separate ones for hand drying. She doesn’t want hand germs on the dishes. It never occured to me but it does make perfect sense.

What?! I will be trying this over the weekend. Happily I have a drawer underneath. If I removed my oven door there’s a strong chance I wouldn’t ever get it back on right.

Both have their advantages. Mix the two while you’re experimenting with things. You’ll find a ratio you like.
